Santiago Delgado is the Vice President, Chief Business Development Officer at Ribera Salud Group. Since Jan. 2000 Santiago has been involved from different top managerial positions as a member of the Steering Committee in the development of Spanish ACO – like Ribera Salud, the established operator of the “Alzira Model” whereby primary and acute care services are fully integrated through innovative PPPs, under a comprehensive capitated payment.
Prior to being appointed for his current position in 2014, Santiago was the deputy general manager of two integrated healthcare districts in the region of Valencia, including two district general hospitals and more than 25 Primary Care centres, covering 310.000 people.
Before joining Ribera Salud, he served for the public administration as the Press Officer for the Minister of Public Works of the Autonomous Region of Valencia, Spain.
Santiago holds a degree in Journalism from CEU S. Pablo University, a CSS in Business and Administration from Harvard University, and has also completed executive education programs at IESE and ESADE Business Schools
He is a member of the ACO Advisory Board at WISH Doha and has acted as a guest speaker and panelist in several events on health and healthcare management on integrated care, Accountable Care Organisations and the New Models of Care, organized by leading organizations around the world.
